Animal’s artists weave creativity with technology to craft content for the advertising, film, TV, and music industries.
Our team of Animals spent two weeks in Park City, Utah for the premiere of Blood Brother at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival. And guess what, they didn't come home empty handed.
Winner of the U.S. Grand Jury Prize: Documentary and Winner of the Audience: U.S. Documentary, the premiere of Blood Brother was a success! We received great feedback from the documentary and film community. At Sundance’s award ceremony, presenter Director Davis Guggenheim said, “This film shook us to our very core…It is a delicate character study. Exuberant. Heartbreaking. Transcendent. And profoundly, moving.” For more Sundance highlights click here.
Blood Brother is now screening at film festivals world wide, and won ‘Best Feature Documentary’ at the Big Sky Documentary Film Festival in Missoula, MT. Why stop there? Blood Brother received the ‘Audience Award’ at the Thin Line Documentary Festival in Denton, TX. We can’t wait to see what happens next.
Rocky and the gang couldn’t be more enthused about the attention and awareness their story is receiving. When accepting the Sundance award, Director Steve Hoover said, he “can’t wait to see the difference we can make in the world because of this.”
Animal Media Group published a Blood Brother book, "I Was Always Beautiful.” The book is an unedited compilation of Rocky’s personal journal entries and full-page photographs. All proceeds from the book’s sales go directly to Rocky and the kids. You can watch the book trailer here.
